Watershed is operated by an experienced team of investment, trading, accounting, legal and administrative professionals led by Meridee Moore. In order to assure alignment of interest, each of Watershed’s key employees has a significant personal investment alongside its partners and shareholders.
Meridee A. Moore
Ms. Moore is Senior Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer at Watershed. Prior to founding Watershed, Ms. Moore was a partner for ten years at Farallon Capital Management, L.L.C. Prior to joining Farallon, Ms. Moore was a senior vice president in Lehman Brothers' investment banking division in the financial new products and corporate finance departments. Prior to Lehman, Ms. Moore was a corporate law associate in New York for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett L.L.P. Ms. Moore received her J.D. from the Yale Law School. She graduated summa cum laude in philosophy and magna cum laude in general studies from the University of Colorado, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and was named Most Outstanding Graduate in the School of Arts and Sciences.
Ms. Tennican is a Managing Director at Watershed. Prior to joining Watershed, Ms. Tennican was a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Institutional Sales for iShares where she was responsible for building and executing iShares’ sales strategy for pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, consultants, asset managers and hedge funds in the United States. Prior to iShares, Ms. Tennican led the U.S. Consultant Resource group in the Americas Institutional Business segment of BlackRock (formerly known as Barclays Global Investors). Prior to BlackRock, Ms. Tennican held roles as COO/ head of client relations at two San Francisco-based hedge funds, and spent seven years at Robertson Stephens & Company where she held positions in investment banking (covering technology and special situations), capital markets and institutional sales. Ms. Tennican received an M.B.A. and a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.
Matthew W. De Dominicis
Mr. De Dominicis is the Chief Financial Officer at Watershed. Prior to joining Watershed, Mr. De Dominicis was the fund controller at Highland Capital Partners in Boston. Prior to Highland, Mr. De Dominicis was in the Portfolio Valuation and Accounting Group at Sowood Capital Management, an investment finance manager at Liberty Mutual Group and a senior consultant at Ernst & Young. Mr. De Dominicis received his M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Michele F. Kyrouz
Ms. Kyrouz is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Watershed. Prior to joining Watershed, Ms. Kyrouz was a partner in the San Francisco Office of Latham & Watkins L.L.P. where she focused on matters related to corporate governance, investment funds, securities litigation, and takeover defense. Prior to Latham & Watkins, Ms. Kyrouz was an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, Shearman & Sterling L.L.P., and Severson & Werson L.L.P. Ms. Kyrouz received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, and her B.A., summa cum laude, in political science from University of California at Berkeley. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
